As a father of two boys, Kevin Ford knows education is personal. He will fight to secure full state funding for our schools, along with competitive teacher pay and housing solutions that allow educators to live in the communities they serve. He supports career and technical education, AI and technology readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship pathways so our students graduate prepared to compete, build wealth, and lead in any room they enter. When we invest in stability at home and excellence in the classroom, we secure the future of Prince George’s County.
PUBLIC SAFETY
Public safety means safe neighborhoods, strong families, and real opportunity. Women should feel safe walking to their cars at night. Parents should feel comfortable letting their children play outside, and seniors should feel secure in their homes. Kevin Ford believes public safety includes fully supporting law enforcement, properly funding our fire department, and improving emergency response times so help arrives when families need it most. At the same time, we must address the root causes of crime, including poverty, education gaps, and lack of economic opportunity. As State Senator, he will fight to ensure Prince George’s County receives its fair share of resources so every family can live and work without fear.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Prince George’s County should be the economic capital of Black excellence in America. We have the talent, the location, and the buying power, but we are not competing at the level we should be. Too many young families are leaving because opportunity feels limited and housing feels out of reach. As a business owner and licensed real estate broker, Kevin Ford understands what drives growth. He will cut red tape, bring investment home, strengthen our schools, and build smart, mixed-use communities that create jobs and keep families here. Prince George’s County should not be playing catch-up. We should be setting the pace.
